It looks like the Drive to Fill the Five will be delivering its contents on the 15th of October. Moccasin Telegraph still needs to raise the money to cover the costs of fuel - total cost is about $280, and donations totalling $140 have already been received. If you would like to help with a bit of cash, email me at moccasintelegraph@hotmail.com and I'll make arrangements to pick it up when I am collecting the larger donations throughout the city.
You still have until the 13th of October to make donations at the Sung Lee Tae Kwon Do locations in Londonderry Mall and in Town Centre Mall in Millwoods. Thanks for helping me fill a five-ton truck with donations for the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre - I'll post a picture if I can once the truck is all loaded.

The Drive to Fill the Five is on until early October. Donations of new and used items - clothing, bedding, bathroom belongings, toys, furniture - what ever your big ol' heart can spare, are being collected and delivered to the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre. If you have an item too large to deliver to the donation boxes, please contact Fiona at moccasintelegraph@hotmail.com and let me know what you have to donate, and your contact information. I will contact you to arrange pick up of the item(s). Donation boxes are in place outside the Sung Lee Tae Kwon Do Dojangs at Londonderry Mall, Millwoods Town Centre, West Edmonton and St. Albert - exact address information is available on air - Listen to Moccasin Telegraph - Edmonton's Aboriginal Call In Show - on Thursdays starting now at 5 pm. More Time for Moccasin Telegraph
Today, and for the next few weeks, Moccasin Telegraph has been granted another 30 minutes of air time, to accommodate the very large topic of discussing the Indian Act, and its pending demise. Please listen on the radio at 88.5fm in Edmonton, or cjsr.com around the world.
